Athletics Day
This morning we participated in our Junior School Fun Athletics Day. We were put into four teams within our whānau groups - Blue, Red, Yellow and Green. We wore clothes the colour of our team, and got to compete in lots of athletics based activities. We spent ten minutes at each station before moving on to the next one. It was cold and windy, but we had so much fun running, jumping and throwing. We all did a fantastic job and listened carefully to the teachers at each station so we knew what to do.
Some of the stations were:
- Hurdle Sprints
- Formula One Relays
- Jumping and Waddling with a ball
- Vortex Throws
- Kneeling Throws
- Tug of War
- Torch Relay
